Initial visit: $350 less a $150 rebate from the Ontario Government mailed directly to the homeowner- Hearthmakers handles the application for the rebate. This brings the net cost down to $200

There is an additional cost for homes over 2500 sq ft ($25 for every additional 500 sq ft).

Post-retrofit visit: the follow-up visit to verify the improvements and quantify the grant amount is $185.

There is an additional fee of $50 if the floorplan has changed between the initial and post-retrofit visit, as it will be necessary to re-model the home with our software

Travel fees: There are no travel fees for homes within 75 km round-trip from downtown Kingston. Beyond that it is $0.50 per km. Any ferry fees incured will also be charged to homeowner

GST: GST will be added. Does not apply to travel

Cancellation fee: We must receive notice of cancellation 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If we do not receive notice in time, a cancellation/rebooking fee of $50 will apply.

Payment: At this time we cannot accept credit cards. Personal cheques are preferred method of payment.
