Home Energy Savings Grants - Free Info Sessions!

As many of you probably already know, the federal government withdrew its funding from the ecoENERGY Program as of April 1st 2010.

However, the province’s Home Energy Savings Program is still in effect! Any homeowner in Ontario can receive up to $5,000 in provincial grants for energy saving retrofits.

The homeowner must have an energy audit before and after the work is completed and the final audit must be on or before March 31st 2011.

In order to provide accurate information, Hearthmakers is hosting a free information session on September 21st from 7:30 – 9:00 PM at the Kingston Sustainability Centre (193 Princess).
