Rural Opportunities: Wind Energy Cooperatives

Hearthmakers Energy Cooperative hosted its fifth in a series of workshops geared to capture the public's interest in renewable resources, specifically wind energy and the development of a wind farm managed through a successful cooperative model. Participants from Prince Edward County were eager to hear two dynamic speakers explain how their community can benefit from this model. The evening concluded with an energetic group discussion.
