Workshop on Wolfe Island

Hearthmakers Energy Cooperative, in partnership with the Greater Kingston Trade Winds Project, Gaia Power Inc., and the Township of Frontenac Islands, is sponsoring a workshop entitled "Cooperative Ownership of Trade Winds: Local Benefits from Local Natural Resources." The workshop will take place on Thursday, August 21 from 7:00 to 9:30pm at the Wolfe Island Community Centre. Anyone interested in supporting Hearthmakers and owning asset shares of a wind farm on Wolfe Island should attend if possible.

ecoENERGY is an ecoACTION initiative developed by Natural Resources Canada. By using energy more efficiently, Canadians can reduce emissions produced through energy use and contribute to clean air, water and energy and a healthy environment for all Canadians. Hearthmakers delivers ecoENERGY under agreement with Green Communities Canada. ecoENERGY Initiatives help Canadians use energy more efficiently, boost renewable energy supplies and develop cleaner-energy technologies.
